Have you seen episodes of 'Airline'??? It comes on here on A&E at 9pm on Mondays. But what are the people at Southwest Airlines thinking?! It's great fun watching the show but it only teaches us NOT to fly this airline! First of all, it seems like if you've had a few drinks at the airport bar (and the staff sees you doing so) you might not be flying that day. I understand banning loud and lewd drunks but c'mon already... even harmless ones that'll probably go on the plane and go to sleep?! It seems a little unfair. Besides, wouldn't you have to be slightly intoxicated to WANT to fly then anyway hahahaha?! Second of all, while a few of the staff seem to have a HUGE amount of patience (they're probably aliens), quite a number of them are awful!! Women in particular. Oh, such witches!! But that's MY opinion :)
Granted, it's been a few years since my (younger) Arizona days when jetting from Tucson to LAX or LAS for $99/RT was a great deal... and yes, it was a thrill for me (for awhile at least) that riding a plane was much like riding a public bus (no designated seats; not even when boarding passes are given out) except with goofy attendents who enjoy being wanna-be singers or stand-up comedians (is that really neccessary).
So go watch it if you're a big Southwest Airlines flyer. I promise you'd take the second option ESPECIALLY if you have connections to make to get to a destination. :)
